This sustainable scented candle is made in the shells of organic Brazil nuts.
The Brazil nut tree is one of the tallest trees in the Amazon rainforest where they grow undisturbed and in a biodynamic environment.
Instead of discarding the shells or using them as firewood, CANDELA has chosen to use them for scented candles as part of an initiative that helps to protect more than 200,000 hectares in the Amazon's valuable rainforest and in addition to provide support and social responsibility for more than 400 farmers their families who work with harvesting Brazil nuts and preserving the original nature.
The candle has a fantastic scent of lavender and has a burning time of 6 to 8 hours
Lead-free wicks
The shell has an internal ceramic protection against the stearin and flame.
Once the candle has burned down, the bowl can be easily cleaned and reused as a decorative object or for storing trinkets and small stuff.
