The straws should be rinsed in clean water before first use as they may contain bamboo dust.
Bamboo is a living material therefore they should stand in a glass or mug with a clean cloth or a piece of paper towel at the bottom that can collect the excess liquid. Make sure they are completely dry before putting in place
If you want to dispose of the straws, you can simply throw them in the compost.
The straws are delivered in a box of recyclable cardboard.
