Chaulmoogra oil (hydnocarpus laurifolia seed oil) - has significant antibacterial and antimycobacterial properties

Cyclopentenic unsaturated fatty acids (hydnocarpic, chaulmoogric and gorlic) - fight dandruff and soothe irritated scalp

Lavandin grosso essential oil (lavandula hybrida oil*) - has calming and relaxing as well as healing properties

Atlas cedar essential oil (cedrus atlantica bark oil*) fights hair loss and has a calming effect

Sunflower oil (helianthus annuus seed oil*) nourishes and protects the hair. An added bonus is that the sunflower oil comes from Europe

Plant-based mild surfactant derived from coconut oil (sodium cocoyl isethionate) cleanses the hair while being gentle on the scalp

A secondary plant-based mild surfactant derived from coconut oil (coco glucoside) increases the foam produced by the sodium cocoyl isethionate

When plant-based sodium cocoyl isethionate and plant-based coco glucoside are combined, this creates a foaming effect that is referred to as a "chemical" reaction and therefore cannot be certified organic

Palmitic acid and stearic acid, which are fatty acids derived from olive oil, give the shampoo bar its firmness and make it durable
