Orsa sandstone handmade foot and body peeling stone is made from red sandstone extracted in Dalarna in Sweden.
The stone is 360 million years old and consists of silicon-bonded quartz. The sandstone is used primarily as a building block, millstone and grindstone due to its exceptional abrasion resistance and long-lasting durability.
Use as footer:
- Use the foot file after you have taken a bath or taken a foot bath, as the skin is softened by the water
- Use the ribbed side against the cracked and dry skin of the feet
- Be extra thorough around the heels
- Apply the opposite side of the foot file to the rest of the foot, which provides both peeling and massage of the foot which increases blood circulation
- Finally, rinse your feet thoroughly with warm water to remove the dead skin cells
You will experience after using the file a few times how your skin becomes smoother and free of hard skin and cracks on the heel.
Use as a body peeling stone:
- Finish the bath with a body peel, where you apply the smooth side of the stone for a peeling massage of the body
- With calm, soft circular motions, you massage from the bottom up and always towards the heart
- Rinse body thoroughly for dead skin cells
- Your skin becomes soft and smooth
- Finish with a good body oil that you apply to the wet or moist skin
REMEMBER to clean the stone of dead skin cells after use with warm water.
Every 14 days or as needed, it is recommended that the stone be washed with a mild soap or that you pour boiling water on it to keep it free of bacteria.
Buy if necessary. a nail brush which is only used for cleaning your Orsa sandstone.
The Orsa sandstone cannot be worn up and is therefore a purchase for life.
