Helichrysum Italicum is derived from a beautiful plant which grows in the Mediterranean and is extracted by steam distillation. It has a characteristic bright yellow flowers and this is where the name comes from "Helichrysum Italicum" which means "Italy's golden sun".
The oil's other name "Immortelle" means "eternal or immortal in French" which refers to the long-lasting flowers of the plant that keep their bright yellow color long after they are picked.
Helichrysum essential oil has many therapeutic and nourishing benefits that make it useful in many skin care products.
Helichrysum is an extremely versatile oil that has become popular in the last decade, primarily for its properties for mature, sensitive and damaged skin.
The oil contains the highest known percentage of beta diketones of any essential oil. Thick tones are highly regarded as one of the most valuable ingredients responsible for the amazing skin care benefits of the oil.
The oil's slightly sweet, herbaceous and warm floral fragrance note (base) also makes it very useful for aromatherapy.
Helichrysum oil mixes well with: Bergamot, carrot seeds, chamomile (Roman or blue), cloves, cypress, incense, geranium, grapefruit, juniper, lavender, lemon, orange, palmarosa, peppermint, pine, rose, tea tree, thyme, ylang ylang.

Application:
