Alteya Organics - Bio Borage Oil

Organic Borage oil (Borago Officinalis) is a mild oil with a high content of gamma-linolenic acid (polyunsaturated omega-6 fatty acid) which is beneficial for dehydrated sensitive or irritated skin.

The nourishing oil has a positive effect on the skin's texture, suppleness and moisture loss, the latter as the dressing with dry skin.

Organic borage oil is extracted from the seeds of the Borago Officinalis plant by cold pressing.

It has a light yellow color and mild scent.

Borage oil is suitable for all skin types, but primarily for dry and mature skin.

It has anti-inflammatory properties, suitable for skin problems and treatment of scars.

The oil can be advantageously mixed with other anti-aging serums and eye contour serums.

Application:

• As a face oil on lightly steamed and moist skin right after the bath or after cleansing the skin, 3-6 drops are warmed up between the hands and massaged into the warm skin
• Body Oil is applied to damp skin right after the bath
• Like eye serum, a drop under each eye that is gently dabbed into the skin
• Manufacture of DIY products

Storage: In a cool and dry place, away from direct heat or sunlight. If the temperatures are too high during the summer months, you can store oil in the refrigerator. Note that you must take it out of the refrigerator 12 hours before use to allow the oil to naturally adjust to room temperature again.
