The tuna is caught in a sustainable manner, keeping the species in balance. It is packed in BPA-free packaging and is soaked in organic olive oil.
The fish is first steamed and then hand-skinned. This means that no chemicals are used to remove the skin, and the pieces of fish are nice and large.
It is worth noting that the fish is also treated gently during the production process, in exactly the same way as it has been done for hundreds of years in Spain.
Our Tuna is rod-caught by the local communities in the surrounding waters of the Atlantic coast of Western Africa, Canary and Azores Islands.
By using a line from a boat, it is possible to take into account endangered species, minimum sizes, fishing times and quotas.
