Organic sultana raisins from Biogan are produced from green grapes from the sultanas variety, which are sun-dried for about 10 days after they are picked.
They are smaller, lighter and especially sweeter than dark raisins.
Sultanas can be eaten as a snack, or you can use them in your baking, cooking and salads.
Recipe for rye bread buns with raisins:
You will need: 2dl warm water, 50g yeast, 2 eggs, 10dl rye flour, 2dl raisins, 2 tsp salt, 2dl sesame seeds.
Dissolve the yeast in the water and add salt, eggs and raisins
Add the flour a little at a time, while stirring the mixture
Set the dough aside and let it rise for 30 minutes
Wet your hands with water and shape into approx. 12 buns
Roll the buns in sesame seeds
Let them rise for 30 minutes on a baking sheet
After rising, place the baking sheet in a preheated oven at 185° for approx. 20 minutes
