Biogan organic broad beans are grown in Denmark. The broad bean is also called both Fava bean and Welsh bean, and it is the only bean that originally comes from Europe.
These broad beans are without skin, i.e. they are easier to use than broad beans with skin.
Beans are rich in protein, and therefore particularly suitable for a vegetarian diet, both for cold and hot dishes.
The beans can be used in falafels, for example, instead of chickpeas, if you want to experiment in the kitchen.
Before use, soak the beans for 10-12 hours. Then pour off the water and boil the beans in new water for at least 1/2 hour.
