Nurme 100% Bergamot essential oil has a rich, sweet, fruity, citrusy, fresh aroma.
Uses: In aromatherapy, mood-lifting, restorative. According to traditional medicine, it helps to eliminate negative thoughts, gives new energy and clarity of mind. Also helps to relieve symptoms of colds, increases blood circulation, increases appetite and helps with problem skin. Can be used in bath and sauna, aroma lamp, for inhalation and massage. Soothes the scalp, increases hair growth and gives shine. In DIY deodorant, soap, lotions and shampoo.
Bergamot works well with e.g. ylang-ylang, patchouli, palmarosa, lavender, sage, peppermint, orange, juniper and lemongrass.
Nurme essential bergamot oil is FCF or Furocoumarine Free. Furanocoumarins are compounds found in some plants that are produced by the plant to protect against insects, mold and other pests. In the human body, furanocoumarins can activate or deactivate some drugs, so it is best to avoid such compounds as much as possible.

Pure essential oils should not be used directly on the skin, and should be a maximum of 1% when mixed with other ingredients
