The organic dried figs from biogan can be eaten as a snack or used in your salad, cooking, but also in your baked goods and desserts, they are wonderful.
Recipe for a delicious everyday dessert:
100g dried figs, 2 tbsp. acacia honey
Place the figs on baking paper and drizzle them with honey
Bake them in the middle of the oven at 200°C for about 15 minutes
Cool them until they are slightly warm and serve them with crème fraiche stirred in with a little vanilla
Figs can be enjoyed as both a fresh and dried fruit, but dried figs are clearly the most popular.
Figs are a natural product, and therefore no two figs are identical, neither in appearance nor in taste.
Some figs are light and others are dark, and again some are almost black. The dark figs often have a thinner skin and more fig flesh than the light ones.
The difference between figs comes from their growing conditions during the season, where heat and humidity play a crucial role.
