COCOON wool balls are natural dryer balls made from 100% wool from New Zealand. The wool's strong moisture-absorbing properties reduce the drying time of laundry in the dryer by up to 25%.
Like regular dryer balls, the wool balls move around in the dryer, where they lift and separate the laundry. This gives the heat a better chance to circulate more effectively during drying, and the dryer has an easier time absorbing the evaporating moisture from the clothes. This shortens the drying time of the laundry considerably. At the same time, the wool's moisture-absorbing properties mean that the wool balls also absorb moisture from the laundry during drying.
By using wool balls to dry laundry, you can reduce the drying time by up to 25%, which corresponds to between 10-30 minutes of drying time, good for you and good for the environment.
Wool balls also reduce the build-up of static electricity in laundry, and can therefore be used with advantage for many different types of fabric.
However, wool balls function as more than just dryer balls. Since the wool balls are constantly in contact with the laundry during drying, the wool balls also help soften the clothes, and you can therefore completely avoid using fabric softener.
In each package, half of the wool balls will be made of light wool (for light laundry), and the other half will be made of dark wool (for dark laundry).
User instructions:
Since the wool balls work by separating and separating the laundry to distribute the heat better, you should not wash large amounts of laundry at once. The wool balls will work best in drying cycles where the balls have room to move among the laundry. When drying small or medium-sized amounts of laundry, 2-3 wool balls will be sufficient, but for the best result, a minimum of 3 wool balls are recommended for each drying cycle.
After use, the wool balls may be damp, so it is recommended to let the wool balls air dry before using them again.
Here's how you can use essential oil as a substitute for fabric softener on the wool balls:
Add a few drops to your wool balls. Let them soak in the oil for 10-15 minutes before putting them in the dryer.
