The oil has anti-inflammatory properties and is a rich source of essential omega-3 fatty acids.
Andiroba is known to support collagen production, which promotes firmer, softer and younger looking skin.
Organic andiroba oil moisturizes and nourishes the skin.
Andiroba oil has a light aroma and a high level of absorption ie. that it penetrates deep into the skin and maintains the skin's moisture level.
The organic andiroba oil can be used directly on the skin, as a facial oil.
The oil is also suitable as body oil, massage oil and can be used in homemade (DIY) face and body care products.
Skin type: Normal and mature skin
Application:
Facial oil: To be used on lightly steamed and moist skin immediately after bathing or after cleansing the skin, warm 3-6 drops between the hands and massage into the warm skin
Body Oil: It is recommended to use the oil on damp skin immediately after bathing
Hair oil: Warm a few drops between your hands and massage the oil into the scalp and into the hair, let it work for approx. 30 minutes and then wash the hair with shampoo
The oil can also be mixed with essential oil if you need fragrance or some of the properties found in the essential oils.
