Organic whole rose hips from Alteya Organics are 100% organically grown and hand-picked from rose hips also known as "wild roses" in the fields of Bulgaria.
During the spring, the bushes beautify everything around them with their beautiful flowers, while in the autumn they give us the little red fruits, packed with the energy of the summer sun and useful ingredients.
The rose hips (Rosa canina fruits) contain extremely high amounts of vitamin C. For comparison, 100g of fresh lemon contains approx. 53 mg, whereas in 100g rose hips contains approx. 500 mg.
In addition to vitamin C, rose hips contain large amounts of vitamin A (about 7 mg in 100 grams of fruit) and essential fatty acids (Omega-3 and Omega-6).
The seeds of the fruit contain vitamin E, which is known to give the skin a healthier appearance, promote elasticity and fight wrinkles.
Can be used as an ingredient if you produce your own creams (DIY), in your Potpourri mix or for other creative ideas.
