Meybona

German chocolate factory Meybona makes their organic chocolate from scratch

they buy organic quality cocoa beans and roast them and produce their own cocoa mass.

Meybona has a long tradition of chocolate production, dating back to 1923.

By roasting and processing the cocoa beans themselves, they can ensure that their products get the best flavor notes. Once the beans are roasted, they are rolled into cocoa mass and then conched for between 24 and 48 hours, it is in this process that the very unusual characteristic cocoa aroma and taste is ensured.

Meybona has existed since 1923. At that time, Emil Meyerkamp and his wife Luise founded a confectionery factory in Löhne (Westphalia, Germany).

Today, Meybona is still at the original location and produces according to the old traditional process from cocoa beans to finished chocolate (BEAN TO BAR)

They focus on top quality and this means, among other things, that they do not need to add soy lecithin to their products or vegetable oils such as palm oil. The majority of cocoa beans come from the Dominican Republic. The milk chocolates are produced from whole milk powder from Germany. The vanilla in the organic chocolates is organic Bourbon vanilla. The goal of these delicious chocolates is to give us all a delicious taste experience and the satisfaction of enjoying high quality products.

Meybona has also won the prestigious DLG award for 10 years in a row. This German award is given to companies that are considered to have worked continuously with their product quality in the food industry.
