Organic rye flakes from biogan are whole grains that are moistened with steam and pressed into rollers.
Whether you like warm, creamy porridge, muesli or freshly baked buns, organic rye flakes are just ideal.
TIP! For muesli, it is recommended to toast the rye flakes in a pan with honey.
Recipe for buns:
60dl water, 10g yeast, 2 tsp coarse salt, 150g rye flakes + a little for decoration, 550-600g wheat flour.
Stir the yeast into the water in a bowl. Add salt and rye flakes. Add the flour and mix the dough well.
Cover the bowl and place the dough in the refrigerator overnight.
Shape the buns and sprinkle with rye flakes, and place them on a baking sheet with baking paper underneath.
Baking time: 25-30 minutes at 200ºC.
