Red split lentils are widely used in Indian cuisine for Indian dahl, but in addition, organic red split lentils from biogan are also ideal for both stews and oven dishes with all kinds of meat. They are also really good as a filling in soups, which adds a delicious creamy texture to the soup.
Preparation:
The lentils do not need to be soaked. Put them in a sieve and rinse them under cold water.
The small red and shelled lentils have a shorter cooking time than whole lentils, with a cooking time of approx. 15-20 minutes.
