Biogan organic lentils are grown in Denmark.
The whole, unshelled lentils have a slightly reddish color inside.
The lentils are used as a side dish, in homemade pâté, in stews and in meatballs.
Lentils are rich in protein and a good source of fiber.
Depending on whether you want them as a side dish "with bite" or in your pâtés or stews, the following is recommended:
The lentils should not be soaked, only rinsed, before cooking
Pour them into boiling water with salt and possibly spices
After 15 minutes of cooking, you have a lentil with "bite" that has a lovely sweet, nutty taste
If you want a cooked lentil, let them cook for 20 minutes
