Organic psyllium husks from biogan, also called psyllium, come from the Indian plant plantago ovata.
They are used in bread, especially for gluten-free baking, where they help prevent the bread from drying out, and add a high fiber content to the bread.
Psyllium husks can also be added to smoothies, water and juice and used in cooking.
The fine flea seed should be mixed with the flour, while the coarse one should be made into a gel first.
Psyllium is water-soluble and absorbs water, so remember to drink plenty of fluids.
